What's the least expensive, no-frills but accurate device on the market these days?

I would have to say the ConTec CMS-50D+ (has to be the Plus). It was the cheapest I've found so far that seems to do the job very well. I have no complaints w/it. I also have the SP0 7500 which is considerably more expensive and I have no complaints w/it either. There are things I like and prefer about each and/or their software. For the price I'd go w/the CMS-50D+.

Kevin Cooper (pulseoxstore.com) provides wonderful support for the ConTec CMS-50 models.
That looks like a very nice pulse ox and is on sale right now at the store mentioned in Judy's post for $84.00. Unfortunately my partner would kill me if I became any more obsessed with anything pertaining to sleep apnea, or I would buy one myself.

WHY would you let your PARTNER prevent you from buying something that you are interested in and feel might help you w/accepting, using or understanding and monitoring your sleep problems? Especially when it is only $84 (if you are sure that it is the CMS-50DPlus is currently priced that low?) Do you have no income of your own? Do you contribute NOTHING to the running of your household? Cooking? Cleaning? etc.?
Yes, it was the CMS-50D+, usually $150.00. Does that sound more like it? I could be wrong, but check it out at the pulseox store. If I really wanted a pulse ox I would buy one.

Its a great price. The best price I've seen previous to this is $100-$120 for the CMS-50D+. The only drawback I've found to the CMS-50D+ is that you cannot set the time in the oximeter. That's not that much of a drawback really. You have to make note of the time you put it on and start recording at night.
The 50D Plus, 50E, 50H and 50F are the four models with recording capability. If you're interested in using a pulse oximeter when you sleep with your CPAP machine then you should select one of these models.

The 50DL and the 50D do not record, so they're more suitable for instantaneous spot-checks rather than for prolonged use.

Note, too, that although the recording models can record for up to 24 hours, each time you start a recording session the previous data will be erased. So, it's important to download your data after each session before you start another session.
Thanks for that 99. Do you have this device yourself? I'm looking for one in the UK.
