I saw last night on Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel that Adam has sleep apnea. I wrote an article about it to create awareness.

Every time I hear about someone famous with sleep apnea, I feel more comfortable about having it too. What do you think?

I find myself saying "that person has sleep apnea" all the time these days... maybe I'm cynical ?
Doesn't seem cynical to me, Matt. Maybe more, like everyone seems to be saying, some attempt to manage the emotional adjustment of dealing endlessly with apnea with (sometimes) marginal support and info.
Thank God for Sleep Guide where we can just hash this stuff around--the answer's probably not as important as the processing and venting...only my opinion at the moment. There IS a recurring theme of emotional response on this particular thread.....

Girl watching and flirting is one of my favorite activities. Lately I noticed that I am paying a lot of attention to jaw structure in addition to the more commonly observed parts of the female anatomy.
Especially politicians...

Referring to all politicians, didn't mean to single out female politicians, sorry if I was misunderstood there.

But yeah, I can see where you're coming from, Banyon. :)
on the topic of celebrity and a propos to Banyon's girl-watching angle, can anyone think of a celebrity who is slim, but whose jaw structure suggests she (or he) would be prone to Sleep Apnea?

Mike, how about Jessica Alba?

Excellent updated image for the Sleep Apnea patient. I'd much rather have this one in mind than the standard one of an overweight, middle-aged man. Thanks, Dr. Park ;-)
