Resmed has prohibited the sale of their items on CPAPAuction.com. Many sellers are working around these restrictions. Until we can enforce the Resmed ban with precision, we can't accept new auctions. We apologize for this sorry state of affairs.
Resmed needs to get rid of that bleeping idiot they installed at the top and maybe bring Peter Ferrell back. Either way, I've been an avid Resmed fan and it pains me to say this - but - screw Resmed and all the horses they rode in on. I'm done defending them, I'm done using their PAPs. So far I've not had good luck w/the couple of their masks that I tried. Now I will no longer even try one of their masks.
Has anyone checked to see if Resmed has taken on craigslist yet or not? Or are they just bullying one large, well-liked, popular online DME supplier??
Go on back to Australia, Resmed. You are no longer welcome or wanted here.

Here's a comment from someone else:
"This has been on the horizon for a number of years now.
In Europe, ResMed either owns or is part owner of a large number of DMEs, who supply their product. Smaller DMEs are being frozen out. This is what they will continue with throughout the world.
In Europe, they have taken on the online suppliers too.
Auction are obviously next.
Respironics are not 100 miles behind. Once the Phillips takeover and branding is fully complete.......I think you will also see change."
So ..... are Lincare or Apria in line to be taken over, bought out or bought into, by Resmed?
laws need to be enacted to stop this Resmed bullying and separate the manufactoring from the sales control that they so tightly control for their benefit and to the detriment of the hostage (sleep apnea patient) who has little where to go
What I find most entertaining is how ResMed's efforts to keep their products from showing up in auctions will backfire on them completely, and has begun to already. That move will force private parties wanting to sell ResMed products now to post their prices on Internet forums (instead of auction sites), which will make those prices MORE visible, not less visible. The prices will now be posted publicly where people will see them who aren't even looking for them, and those posts will rank high in Internet search engines. Will ResMed then go after, and try to shut down, every Internet forum on the planet?
I remember when ResMed used to appear smart. In Internet time, that was a looooooong time ago.
