I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea and a few days ago I received
my first CPAP machine. It came with three mask: one full face, one
nasal, and one nasal pillow type. This will be my third night using it
and for the life of me, I find it hard trying to go to sleep with my
CPAP on. I lie in my bed for hours trying to fall asleep and its driving
me crazy. Even after I fall asleep I find my self waking up frequently
annoyed with the stuff on my face. I get up the next day really tired as if I had no sleep. I have tried all three mask and its
the same either way. I was wondering if anyone else has experianced these problem and wondering if this will go away with more time.
My pressure is at 8 and find it a little hard to breath like I am not getting enough air. My mask feels somewhat comfortable but annoying after a long while wearing it. My machine has this button you can press so that the pressure drops to 4 then slowly works its way back up, but I find that the lower pressure makes it even harder to breath.
