Reflux is common with Sleep Apnea, according to Steven Y. Park, M.D. Dr. Park spoke at Manhattan A.W.A.K.E. Sleep Apnea Support Group (www.ManhattanAwake.org) on 2/3/2010
i had an interesting thought about a recent statement
GERD is not related to sleep apnea
i say that while this may be true i will give two exampleu
1 enstine theory on relitivity does not work in reverse
2 a jew is always an isrealite but an isrealite is not alway a jew
I know I was diagosed with a "sloppy sphincter" and reflux, due to age, before I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. But even then I was having mild symptoms of sleep apnea- morning headaches, fatigue, long naps. My GERD has since resolved itself if I don't overeat.
