Much as I LOVE my VPAP Auto I'm beginning to suspect that auto titrating w/a bi-level auto is best done w/the Respironics rather than the Resmed due to the way Resmed's Pressure Support works.
I just switched from the Respironics Simplicity simple nasal cushion which I have loved for the last 2 years plus to the ProBasics Zzz-Mask (full face). I notice that I feel like I'm getting much more pressure w/the Zzz-Mask. When I was trialing the Swift LT for Her and the OptiLife nasal cradle cushion I noticed that the OptiLife felt like I was getting more pressure than w/the Swift LT for Her.
I am THRILLED that you have so much experience and liking for the Resmeds! I have a Resmed VPAP Auto, the January 2008 release, not the July 2008 released VPAP Auto 25. I LOVE it in Auto mode. Can NOT use the Spontaneous mode w/o too abrupt a transistion between IPAP and EPAP.
I see my sleep pulmo later today. But his experience has been w/the Respironics and that is the software he has so I do my own ResScan downloads to provide to him.
AWESOME photos!!
