I've been on BIPAP nearly a yr & i've just this week 3/25 started in my sleep switching my BIPAP off
taking my mask off & changing from top to bottom of the bed...don't know why this is happening..Sorry to hear you're having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep; that doesn't happen very often to me. Sometimes when I'm better rested, I seem to have more trouble with my cpap gear, almost as if I'm usually too tired for the uncomfortable bits to bother me. Other times, the machine isn't giving me enough air, though mostly that's ok.
If you're not having those kinds of problems, think about when you're getting caffeine; I find that while I'm drinking something with caffeine, it seems like I have to keep sipping for it to be effective. However, hours later, I find that it keeps me from sleeping right. I'm not sure why that is since it feels like it was out of my system quite quickly. Complicated!
God bless!

Thanks for the friend add! How did your sleep study go on Feb 8? I understand how sometimes it feels like you have to work so much harder to breath; frustrating sometimes.
God bless!
