Do you have Mild Sleep Apnea, Moderate Sleep Apnea or Severe Sleep Apnea?
Mild Sleep Apnea = AHI between 5 and 15
Moderate Sleep Apnea = AHI between 15 and 30
Severe Sleep Apnea = AHI > 30

My AHI for Nov 2009 sleep study was AHI 32. Does this combine obstructive apneas and central apneas? Do hypopneas result only from obstructive causes or also from central?
Yes, the AHI score includes all events -- both obstructive apneas and central apneas. Hypopneas can result from both obstructive causes and from central causes, i believe.
