As you may all have figgered out by now, I'm not really happy UNLESS I have something to gripe about. *wicked grin*

Yeah, well, the hospital called yesterday and despite being AMAZINGLY helpful and accomadating, managed to make me happy be giving me something to gripe about in return.

The aspiration biopsy is scheduled for 9 AM. BUT - I have to be to the hospital at 7 AM!!! On a cold, frosty November Michigan morning! I am NOT a morning person! I don't DO mornings, especially COLD mornings!!! I'm supposed to be there the 2 hours early because I have to have blood drawn. What they hay??? WHY can't we do the blood draw Friday or even Saturday before noon?? But that's not all!

The night before I have to shower w/an anti-bacterial soap. Say what? My husband likes Zest so I haven't used any soap but Zest for the last 40+ years!!! I don't even know if Zest is an anti-bacterial soap or not - so I, who HATE to shop, must run into town and find an anti-bacterial soap. But that's STILL not all!!!

I have to shower again the next MORNING! The MORNING of that 9 AM procedure that I have to be at the hospital at 7 AM for that means I have to leave the house at least by 6:30 AM for. So I take this nice, hot shower - and then have to go out in a COLD, frosty, November Michigan MORNING at this unGodly 6:30 AM hour.

Mumble, grumble. Any one of these things is bad enough - but to go out in the COLD, after a nice, HOT shower, that early in the MORNING?? These guys are SADISTS! Cruel, mean, vicious SADISTIC demons, I tell you! I sure mustta been one mean, miserable, nasty witch in my previous life to deserve this!!!

Besides - I'm not a punctual person. I'm a procrastinator. I'm habitually late for everything. I'll be late for my own funeral. The hearse will have an accident. 6:30 in the morning???? 6:30 on a COLD Michigan morning?? Cruel and sadistic, I tell ya, CRUEL and SADISTIC. They HATE me!

Mumble, grumble.

SISSY
Yeah, Judy.... What Rock said...SISSY!

My FNB is on a Thursday at 3:15 in the afternoon on a sunny 79 degree beautiful Colorado cloud-free day! Are you jealous?
LOL. bee
Ah, Bee! Go ahead, rub it in, "friend".

*giggle*
Nyah, nyah! AT LEAST I don't have to go shopping for an anti-bacterial soap. I forget we do buy "hand soap" to keep at the kitchen sink and it says it is anti-bacterial so I just put the extra bottle in the shower rack for Sunday night and Monday morning.
Judy the weather in Indy has been relatively calm for a while. We had a mild winter that moved pretty quick into spring, almost no summer ( 2 weeks of 90+), followed by what is turning out to be one of the most beautiful falls we have had in a while. We have seen very few frost days so far. It is 60 degrees today. Sedona Az weather pretty much. All predicters point to a rough winter though. The wooly worms are thick, dark, and have colors on both ends. Almanac says bad things are brewing.
Ahhh, Rock!!! I was never much of a spring fan due to rain and mud, but autumn was always my favorite time of year. Sadly, mid-Michigan has had lousy falls the last 4-5 years or so. Rain, rain, and more rain and early cool to cold temperatures. Last year we even had snow that stayed on the ground a full day in November. Usually we were all holding our breath hoping for a White Christmas which we almost always got. But not before then. I can remember 70+ degrees days in early November. Not any more. *sigh*
In October we only had 8 days of no rain. We had 23 days of rain, rain, and more rain. So far November has been much better. Today it reached the mid 70's. Our summer was cool and rainy. Not many days of good swimming weather, which bummed my grandkids and kids out. We love being in the pool and spend most every pretty day in the water. No so this past summer.

I remember when my oldest son was a baby we had a winter ice storm on Thanksgiving that pretty well shut everything down, and it wasn't one of those that came and went. I HATE ice storms. They are the worst.
They did you a favor, Judy. I had appendicitis when I was 7 years ago and, except for childbirth, it was the worst pain I've ever had. I remember even after all these years. 60 years!! Right up there with gallbladder pain when there are stones present.....NOT FUN! I think anyone who has the chance to have the little bugger removed is better off for it--it's dangerous if it gets cranky and does nothing whatsoever for the human body since we started walking upright.

'Course from the way you describe yourself in the a.m., Judy, I'm not certain you ARE upright!!, at least not at that time of day.!!

McCord lol

Yeah, but look at these FNAs this way, Bee. at least we still have our thyroid and so far not malignant. Both of these are always good news in my book. I always hate partiing w/part of my body, even my appendix, cause I figger God put them there for a reason. They blackmailed me to get my appendix, wouldn't do the tubal ligation unless I agreed to letting them take my healthy appendix too. Took me a year and a 5th pregnancy scare to cave in.
That's our Rock!! Mr. Empathy personified!!!!

LMAO!!!

Buck up Judy! Put on your winter gear and get yer @$$ to that appointment!
Judy, How did the biopsy appointment go?

Mary Zimlich
Is there a relationship between thyroid problems and Sleep Apnea? Recent bloodwork says that I am on the cusp of hypothyroidism and wondered if it might be related?

And Judy-- did you have your biopsy already?
i think a good working thyroid will help the rise early in the morning and is excellent for your circulation and is a good internal furnace to keep you warm

pick the bones out of that lot
