Mike,
I'm sorry it sounded that way -- that's a limitation of email, I guess, that you could not see my facial expressions, etc. My apologies.
If you want it, you can certainly have it, and it will save me the trouble of finding someone else who wants it.
Being a newbie to the CPAP community, it just seems old to me -- but you're right, if you can set it to the pressure you need, it will certainly do the job.
I was sad when I found the machine. My father needed it, but it was difficult for him to adjust to it and my mom was not at all supportive of him using it. I wish he had, because it might have extended his life. I miss him a lot and wish he had taken better care of himself.
So if someone can use his machine, I will feel very happy.

Mike Fritz said:It looked to me like you were trying to back out of the deal so do whatever you want to with it. So never mind. Thanks
Anne Pf said:Well, honestly, Mike, you're the only one who seems to want it. I certainly don't.
But it's up to you -- if you want it, and are willing to pay shipping, send me your address. Otherwise, never mind.
I just want to get rid of it, but it seems a waste to throw it away.

Anne Pf said:Mike,
You're welcome to it. Where do you live? Send me your address and I'll ship it on Monday.
You can send info to my email, pfann447@yahoo.com

Mike Fritz said:No I don't but a pressure of 17 is a pressure of 17 so I possibly could use it. If you don't want to send it no problem. Sorry I bothered.
Anne Pf said:Do you actually use this kind of CPAP machine? It seems so old to me.
Mike Fritz said:I would like it for a possible backup but if you decide to give it to charity that is ok. Pm me and I will send you a check for shipping.

Thanks for the offer of giving this machine to someone that is in need of one and cannot afford to buy one.
This is still a new forum with many new users that may be fearful of using "preowned" equipment, masks, etc. Those that are uninsured or underinsured need an outlet where they maybe able to pick up equipment that is still adequate for their needs for little or no cost involved. I hope that we can help some of those that fall through the cracks become compliant with our help -- both on sleepguide.com and cpaptalk.com. At the present time, cpaptalk.com forum members are more open to accepting preowned equipment and supplies, as long as the equipment and supplies are useable and in good condition. I hope that this forum eventually opens up so that members here are more willing to accept the generous offers of others.
Anne - I think you were very generous to offer this to someone in need. I think the generosity of people, like you, and the others who participate in this group to help others are what makes people like me coming back. I have been so impressed with how wonderful the people are to share their knowledge, equipment, tips and to encourage each other. It is obvious to me that you are a kind hearted person and I wish more people in the world had your generous and giving spirit.
Mary
