Does the new PR System One REMstar Auto CPAP detects RERAs and other flow
limitations that the M Series or S8s did not?

I've been waiting for feedback on this model. I'm interested in seeing if picking up RERAs and flow limitations can actually make a difference in how well you can sleep. Does the machine respond to these events or does it adjust to apneas and hypopneas only? Or are these new functions purely for more information that can't be acted on a practical level?
I have been searching the internet for an answer to this question. I used the M Series Auto CPAP (500M) for a couple of months. I've just switched to the REMStar Auto A-Flex System One 550P. (I used both as Auto-CPAPs). Although it's only been a few days, I can see that my pressures are higher on the System One than they were on the M Series, and I am wondering why that is. Does the M Series not detect and respond to RERAs/flow limitations and the System One does? I can't find this information.

Also, I was frequently awakened by pressure changes on the M Series. I would feel like a tornado was rushing through my airway, and I'd have to turn the system off to get the pressure down. While I am still waking up at night on the System One, I don't find the pressure as uncomfortable, even though the pressure is often higher. I don't know if it is less uncomfortable due to the A-flex feature (which I tried to turn off per my doctor's instruction, but could only dial down to 1), or some other unknown reason.
Just spoke to someone at Respironics. Both the M-Series and System One detect and respond to flow limitations. The M-Series did not report or respond to RERAs. The System One reports RERAs, but does not respond to them (he claims a Bipap is better for that). However, he said that the System One, with its newer technology, has better sensors and is more sensitive to, and better designed to deal with, SDB events and leaks.
Hi all, newbie alert here, so please excuse any breaches of protocol. Do send me any feedback.

I was diagnosed with severe OSA (AHI>80, O2 desat to 85%), and I was issued a RemStar Auto 550P with A-Flex with the System One Humidifier, using a Resmed Quattro mask.

Apparently this machine defaults to a GMT noon-noon cycle, and I've read online that the offset could be changed to PST. I've followed the instructions but I can't find that option in the provider menu. Given that the software to read the data is not available, this is making it very difficult for me to really figure out what's going with my therapy
(I am about three weeks into the therapy, with 5+ hours per night, and I am not feeling any better).

Anyone with pointers on how to change the GMT offset or how to interpret the card data?

Carlo
