MRCA & infectious diseases

I am looking for advice regarding CPAP and infectious disease.  A couple weeks ago I came down with a Staph infection, or MRCA, in my nostril.  I have not used my CPAP machine since then as I have been waiting for the infection to clear up.  I am concerned that the CPAP may have been the source of infection.  If this is the case, I am concerned about going back to using the CPAP in fear of being re-infected.  Is anyone knowledgable about MRCA and whether it can be transmitted through the tubing…See More

SoClean CPAP Sanitizing Machine

I have a Large Quattro FX w/medium headgear w/bag/manual and would like to trade for a Large Mirage Liberty.  Or if the price is right wouldn't mind buying the Liberty outright.  Thanks

Comment by Jack Quebedeaux on January 25, 2012 at 10:31am

Has anyone had luck using the Mirage Liberty Hybrid Mask?  Just when I think I have my Mirage Quattro dialed in and have the leaks conquered, I find out differently.  The Liberty looks appealing but man they are expensive!  Any thoughts or suggestions?

I have a new Resmed S9 Elite with zero hours available to trade for $300 in cash.  This is a new unit that has never been used. It is in perfect condition with the H5i humidifier, humidifier tank (sealed), SD card, slimline hose, power supply and travel case. The machine has never been exposed to a smoking environment. I will provide free shipping to a US address, or at cost shipping outside the US.

I have an x-small ResMed Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask that I don't need any more.  It is too small for me.  I only used it for a week or less.  I don't need anything so I will trade it for cash (paypal) for $50 with USPS First Class Mail.

I have a ResMed Machine to USB cable (for the S8 machines; not the card reader- direct to machine connection) to download your data into ResScan.  For trade for a new large Respironics FitLife Total Face Mask (not the one size fits all) or for sale for $60 shipping included.

I have a nine pin to USB (nine pin cable with male to female adaptor and null modem adadptor for use with a machine such as the VPAP ST that requires the nine pin connection for download of ResScan data.  I don't need anything so I will trade it for cash (paypal) for $20 with priority shipping.
