Mike, That is more than interesting. It is what all hospitals need to start doing.
Note also that the good doctor is bright enough and proactive enough to go further - "Knight also hopes to expand the initiative beyond the hospital to Carle's outpatient affiliates, which he believes are uniquely positioned to diagnose potential sleep apnea sufferers before they land in the hospital."

Most hospitals have already implimented a screening program. I have been talking about mine for over a year. All of these programs are a mold of the Ohio State University Sleep Program. They were one of the first to initiate the screening process. They have been screening everyone for quite sometime now.
