Noticed that we have a large number of new CPAP users on the site who are very quiet. It can't be that they don't have any questions, because there's a ton of stuff to learn when you're just starting out. any ideas the group has on how to bring these people out of their shells? are they intimidated to jump in for fear of saying something "stupid"?
At the beginning of my treatment (3 years ago), I felt I was very "stupid", and I was lurking in several sites about Sleep Apnea. But it was first when I started to join the discussion, I really start to learn something.
I'm not an expert today, but when I participate in the discussion, I always learn something new. Sometimes, I still ask "stupid" questions, but I always get qualified answers. And every time I learn something new, it often helps my treatment.
Henning, good comments, this is the fist discussion board that I have ever joined for my SA and I have had SA since 1998 I also did allot of searching when I was first diagnose but did not find out info like is out there today. this site has been a grate site to learn from each other. I have found out more in the last weeks then I have ever found out in the past 10+ years.
