Respironies REMstar plus M series Cpap machine
I have a used Respironies REMstar plus M series Cpap machine. I have a new machine and do not need this one any longer.
I used it only about 3-6 months. Don't know what the original price was, insurance helped pay for it. But sure it was up there.
If any one need a machine, please email me, I will let you have it, you just pay the shipping, probably around 15.00-20.00.

This is very generous of you, Donna. A couple of people on the forum have recently talked about needing a machine and not having insurance. I'm sure someone can use it.

Hate to be a party pooper, but have you thought about keeping it as a back up machine? I know that the rule of Murphy's law around our house means that stuff breaks when it is less convenient, meaning nights or week-ends when places are closed. Have you made sure that the machine is yours and not a rental if you have only had it for a short amount of time. Typically insurance companies do a rental and after so many months you then own the machine. It seems if I remember correctly it is 10 months or so.
Do you know what pressure it is set at? This might be helpful since the person receiving the machine will have to have it set to their set pressure.

No, It is mine. It was like a rent to own, then after 10-12 months I own it. I do not know what pressure it was set at. I just know that it was very hard for me to breath with it. I now have the bio ResMed Vpap s. I like this but still have a hard time trying to wear the mask. I feel like I'm suffocating.So If the new one breaks No problem I don't used it most of the time anyway. The company I'm with now has been very good, so I'm sure that they would help me with it.
I would rather have someone use this other one than have it setting doing nothing.

A generous offer Donna. Just wanted to make sure you wouldn't need it down the road. If one goes on line they can find the info needed to reset the pressure to their prescribed pressure.
Someone needing a machine that is unable to afford will be greatful.

Donna, are the mask problems the reason you don't use your machine most of the time? Maybe someone at the company you are with can help you with a mask you can wear. Or maybe your Doc needs to adjust your numbers in some way. We encourage 100% compliance here. Talk to them about the problem. Or us.

No, I like the mask, it's just sinus problems which makes breathing harder with a mask on. Sometimes the mask gives me fits, but mostly just the sinus problem. This new mask I have has bellows, which makes it a lot easier to sleep with. The Doctor told me about the Neti pot for sinus, and I have found that it has helped. Now I just need to get off my lazy, you know what and start with the machine again. I know it is very serious not to take care of the sleep apnea.
