I have my service instructions for my CPAP machine, it says that my setting is 13cm and a pressure releief is 3. What does that mean? Is 13 high? Does it matter?

13 is a good average number. What kind of machine do you have? CPAP or BiPAP?
I have a ResMed Series 8 Auto Set 2 or something like that. I don't know if that's CPAP or BiPap....

Hoo! You've got a GOOD machine! That Resmed S8 AutoSet II is an APAP (auto PAP). It can be used as an auto PAP or as a straight CPAP. That pressure relief of 3 is expiration pressure relief (EPR). That means every time you exhale your pressure drops by 3 cms until you inhale again when it goes back up to your set pressure of 13.
Thank you for the information!
