Several recent discussions have indicated a need to increase the public’s awareness to Sleep Apnea and the untreated dangers. While chatting with several other sufferers, I asked about the idea of a “Bumper Sticker” to which would help getting the word out. The idea is in its infancy, but I would like to see what the response might be.

I would like to get input from everyone.

Remember, it is a bumper sticker, not a billboard. I would like to reference a web site where additional information can be obtained.

We want to direct a sufferer to more information, not sell them a brand.

Some of the ideas bantered so far:

APNEA – IT WILL LEAVE YOU BREATHLESS

CPAP ON TAP

GOT IT ???? SLEEP APNEA !!!!!

MY CPAP IS GOOD IN BED

NOT SLEEPING WELL ? ASK YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT SLEEP APNEA

WAKE UP !!! YOU MIGHT HAVE SLEEP APNEA

I want to hear your thoughts and ideas. Then we can proceed to the next step.

I love #1! "my cpap is good in bed" is a winner too. I think it's a good idea in general. :)
I'm thinking it would be wise to avoid putting "CPAP" on a bumper sticker. It's important to raise awareness, but the acronym looks like something rather different at first glance (and is all to easy to complete with a Sharpie).

I'M UNDER A LOT OF PRESSURE WHEN I SLEEP

I like it. "Pressure helps me sleep at night."
Apnea?
Don't Wake Up Dead.
Wear Your CPAP.
Get a sleep test and breathe easy

OSA leaves you breathless.

I do CPAP in my sleep.

Sleep kills. Get tested.
Some ideas I stole from others:

"Die peacefully asleep, while passengers die screaming"

"Healthy awake, deathly ill asleep"

"CPAP: Protecting against the 4:00 a.m. assassin"
C-PAP It could save your life

This is just a rough image, nothing set in stone.
I think SleepyCarol's suggestion is the most attention getting:

Sleep Apnea!! Silent Killer!!
Life is Short. Stay awake for it.

Sleepguide is on board with whatever you all decide, and would proud to have its name associated with this grass roots effort.
