Question: jnk Or Others W/ResScan 3.7 Detailed Graphs

I'm curious about the AHI events per hour detailed graph - NOT the Event Apnea Hypopnea graph.

The latter is the one w/the red apnea w/the duration box on the top. It is the former I am curious about. If you run your cursor along the top of the data lines (as opposed to the graph lilnes) a box will appear w/text in it such as Data Value:10.00, Data Value: 6.00, Data Value 2.00, etc. Does anyone have any idea of what that Data Value indicates? It wouldn't be pressure, it hardly seems it would be hypopnea duration.

It is the calculated value of your AHI at any particular moment in time. I emphasize calculated, because you will observe that the graphed line keeps dropping back to zero every hour, on the hour. I don't find that graph useful at all, so I turn it off on my display.

Thanks, Daniel. Wha choo mean calculated value? The number of hypopneas that hour??? I'd have to go back and check one but I don't think if I added the last ones in each hour up and divided by the number of hours that my AHI comes out to anywhere near that high at the end of the night. But I'll go check 'cause I figger you know more than I do about this stuff.

Yeah, it is a PITA. I never even noticed that running the cursor over it brought up that Data Value: ## until today and I've had ResScan for .... I don't know how long now. I never seem to remember which is which when I'm customizing a report so end up including both. Maybe this time I'll remember and go in and customize the report w/o it.

Ha! I just went and counted and did the math and YOU ARE RIGHT ON, Daniel! I just wasn't sure I was understanding your "calculated value". Forgive me for questioning you!!!
