Ok, I have gotten used to sleeping on my back and I am now venturing into sleeping on my side again. I must be doing pretty good because I still feel good in the morning and even though the mask is all askew the seal still seems to be holding on the mask.
So my question is, while sleeping on my side in my full face mask, chin strap, and cpap pillow what fabric would be best for a pillow cover. It needs to have less drag to keep the mask parts and rubber from causing friction..

Cotton is a, slow, draggy, moisture absorbing material. And the quilting would make it worse. You would be moving your face back and forth on this. That creates drag that will pull all the mask parts off.
If you were a down hill racer would you want a slope with lots of bumps or just a smooth slick slope.
Cotton is not the answer..forget it

Have your tried silk? Or maybe a microfiber?
I know a while back they used to advertise that silk would keep your hair from getting messed up and would help with wrinkles.

I don't think we claim to be experts. Just folks being upfront about what we know and what we don't. I don't know the answer to this question.

I have always slept on a silk pillow case-great for skin and hair. My pillow is still not a cpap pillow. It's a Isotonic- Iso-Cool pillow.Feels great sort of a cool pillow.Works great cause silk can get warm at night-not with this pillow. I'm 51-had night sweats- bad. But now -strange no night sweats with this pillow using my silk case. Got at Belk- 40.00. Every mask I tried - really ALL of them out there-except the Fitlife- I'm still waiting for, I have not had a problem with drag,or friction. Silk works great with my ResMed Mirage Quattro.-So far my favorite mask.-Hate the Sore Nose-Sore forehead-Wrinkles,lines ect... But with Silk, my mask stays in place. I sleep on my sides-flip around during the night land on my back-and then sides again. Will never give up silk. You might also want to look into a Cupron pillow case. Cupron.com. I am now using their eye mask under my mask covering my eyes, (VAIN wrinkle thing- it fixed the sores!) I also place the Cupron eye mask over my forehead.-great for wrinkles on my forehead and it did STOP completly the two huge sore spots from the top of the mask. My Sleep Doctor approved The Cupron mask. I do NOT get leaks. Per D.O. report yesterday I'm 100% curing the Apena! They also aproved the Talika eye mask I ware 2-3 times per week. -Wrinkles, sores now vanishing!--I'ts Just what is working for me. D.O approved both. And I feel great in the morning and am DAILY looking younger- people are asking what am I doing!!!- asking me for the products!- Great for men and woman.
