Question regarding swallowing air: When I sleep on my right side, I start to swallow air about 5 minutes after I put on my nasal pillow mask. When I sleep on my back, I do not swallow air. Why is this? How can I avoid swallowing air on my right side, even though I don't tuck my head down? I prefer to sleep on my right side because it is more comfortable when my sciatica flares up.
