I ended up with the Resmed S9 with humidifier and Climateline heated tubing. The mask I tried is the Sleep Weaver advanced. The machine and mask were great last night but the tubing failed and needs to be replaced. So glad I can use it without the heat in the tube. That part turns off and I can still use the machine and mask without that feature. They aren't kidding when they say it is quiet. Wow! Will have my new heated tube Monday.
This ? http://www.sleepweaver.com/ I'll ask my new doctor about it.

The Intellipap is a good machine and cheaper than the ResMed or Respironics machines which maybe a factor if you have a high deductible or paying out of pocket.
Make sure you can access the data as that allows the docs to track your therapy (and you if you want). It makes changes easier since you can fine tune things without necessarily having another sleep study.
An auto machine typically has that feature already -- although ResMed has an Auto Escape that doesn't record data, but does provide daily data if checked prior to noon and I think weekly and monthly averages.
It seems machines are kind of like mask -- each has their own opinions on which machine is the best. In most cases, many of us have not had the luxury of trying several machines out due to limited funds and I think that is why so many have the preference they do.
On the Sleepweaver mask -- many do not find it practical due to leaks, etc. but those that do get it to work for them seem to really like it. I would like to try it out but hate the thought of having to fork out a hundred dollars (on sale at www.cpap.com now) to see if I could get it to work.
