karlaweeks, as a member of the SleepGuide Crew I would like to welcome you to the forum. If you think you may have sleeep apnea, but have not been tested and are not on any therapy I suggest you start a new discussion (can be added from the main page) with a short into discussing your symptoms to see if we can help. Sometimes it's something as simple as positional sleep apnea where you just need to stay off your back.
