I've been doing pretty darn well with CPAP for awhile now--sleeping well and for usually 6-7 hours a night. Still don't feel rested but have more energy, stamina, thought process has cleared significantly, etc. I'm definitely making progress.
However, the past 3-4 nights I'm back to sleeping 4-5 hours, no more. I'm starting to feel the effects of it today. I've been going to bed at earlier and trying to keep it fairly consistent for awhile now. Not eating late at night--not exercising in the evening--far as I know, I'm not doing anything that I know I shouldn't--no caffeine, no sugar to speak of, no alcohol, no sedative except for Xanax 1.00mg hs. (My sleep doctor told me not to worry about that and that we'll deal with that down the road). Long story short, I'm paying pretty close attention to treatment recs, etc.
SO, I can't figure out why all of a sudden I'm not sleeping nearly as well. Wonder if I need my pressure increased again. I go back to sleep MD 12/8. He bumped it up to 10 (from 9) last time which was 9/1.
Thoughts?
