“Mollete I am sorry if you do not like our trial program.

I have not been banned from anywhere and I'm not sure what that is all about.”

I doubt that you are, indeed, sorry.  On the contrary, I’m quite sure you wish I were dead.

However, I did not say I did not like it—besides, my “likes” (or dislikes) are academic.  Rather, I asked specific questions about the safety of your mask program, vis-à-vis compliance with infection prevention regulations regarding the reuse of SUDs.  What specifically are you doing to comply with these standards as well as the manufacturers’ recommendations?

Not banned, huh?  Well that’s easy enough to check out.  Post a sales link there again and let’s see what happens.

i do not think Mollete is objecting to the sterilization work of the masks but rather

the accompanying paperwork to prove compliance, Independently verified

Actually, the sterilization is what I object to (although "am concerned with" would be more accurate) most of all.  Several of his statements, as well as his reluctance to discuss details, strongly suggest that he is not sterilizing at all.

Proper mask fitting is the undoubtedly the most important component of compliance with therapy.  While "test driving" masks could be a very effective method of helping achieve proper selection, there are numerous reasons while no one has been able to offer this.

But if he can offer a service that complies with current infection prevention practices and regulations, perhaps he should share this so sleep centers, other DMEs, etc. could also adopt this practice.

Hey, "Power to the Patient", right?

And at the least, I'll bet he's looking his current practices with a critical eye now.

Mollete! How the hell are ya?

I am FnA1, thank you for asking.

And yourself?

Tired today, I just finished a 4 day run.

Whoa, that's impressive!

The longest I've ever run was 3:24:36.

BTW, of those people who used the CPAP Library mask trial program, was the headgear new or used?

If used, did the prior loanee have any signs of head lice, ringworm or bedbugs?

Was the headgear sterilized (trick question- you can't)?

TIA.

I used them and thought it was a great service.  I did clean everything before I used it.  It was great to be able to try a mask without purchase. And I cleaned it before I sent it back.

Ginny, if your face hasn't fallen off, I wouldn't worry. You did the right thing by cleaning it before you put it on.

So what does your lab do?
