I received a "message" posted at "my page" I guess it's called, from a girl:

To me this looks like spam, or whatever. This is her "page":

It looks as if she's contacted several people, assuming the same message sent to everyone.
Is there any way to stop people from doing this?

Yes, this is definitely spam. and to answer your question "Is there any way to stop people from doing this?" the answer is a big YES, and you just did it! by calling out spammers as spammers, you notify the moderators of the site (myself included) that they need to take action. Seeing your post, that's exactly what I did. I banned "Joy" from the network. If you click on the link to her page, it no longer goes anywhere because she no longer exists here.
Spammers are always hard at work trying to take advantage of valuable places like this. It's hard to prevent them from coming back. But it's easy to fight them by members like you keeping your eye out and protecting this great community that we've developed. Thank you!
