"The Doctors" ? Never heard of it. What channel is it on? and day or evening?

ALSO, JUST A FRIENDLY REMINDER--DR. PARK'S TELECONFERENCE IS ON THE 8TH ALSO---8:00 P.M. E.S.T.

{Probably not too late to sign up--worth the time!)

Thanks for the link, Mike. Per their site, it's on here in Indy at 4:00 p.m. Glad you gave it to me or I'd have missed the whole darn thing.
Thanks again!!

Dr. Park's on tomorrow night, 8:00 p.m.

McCord :-)

Mike--did you see The Doctors today? It seemed to me they kinda glossed over sleep apnea. Also, I still don't understand why a sleep study wasn't Rx'd for that girl who was described as a light sleeper. From what I heard (and I may have missed something), sure sounded suspicious for apnea to me.

What did you think of the program in general? The part about getting up to an alarm clock throwing your body into a stress reaction before you even woke up was pretty interesting. If that's true, no wonder folks have such a hard time with alarms q a.m........knowing what I now know about apnea, which isn't really a whole lot, that makes total sense to me given the jarring nature of clocks going off when you're sound asleep....

Susan, I wasn't able to watch it this morning. Honestly, I haven't been terribly impressed by the show. It seems a little sensational and simplistic for my taste. I have high hopes for a new show coming out, though: the Dr. Oz show. He's a heart surgeon that was on Oprah quite a lot and is starting his own new show this month. Very bright guy. Know anything about him?

I am sorry I missed both the Teleconference as well as the show on Television. My desktop pc is in the shop as we speak, and my laptop is extremely, so I have had difficulty getting on SG, so I didn't get to see this post until today (9/9/09) Hopefully I will have my regular PC back sometime today. (Just a warning if you don't run a firewall on your pc it is a good idea to do so)

As far as the show Doctors, its an okay show. Sometime the topics that they pick are kind of off the wall, but I do like Dr. Oz. Any time that he is on Oprah I try my best to watch. He is very informative. I'm not so sure what to think of the other doctors that are on the show. I tend to think that sometimes they are a little to light hearted about some of the topics that really should be taken more seriously. Thats just my opinion though. I am hoping that Dr. Oz's new show is a success...
i like how Dr. Oz is chatty and telegenic, without dumbing things down to the point of being, well, dumb. fyi -- the dr. oz tv show's premiere is coming up this Monday, September 14. Here's a link to the website: http://www.doctoroz.com/

I'll check it out if at all possible. I'm rooting for Dr. Oz to knock it out of the park.
