I'm sure that these liners are great for some users. It really is a great idea and it does work to reduce the leaks but it creates a constant (tiny) leak all around the mask that was just intolerable to me. Instead of the mask feeling warm around where it touched my face it was now very cold and uncomfortable to me. I have a high pressure of 18/14 maybe that's why? I also found the liners hard to deal with because they are so small and flimsy, curl up, hard to keep in place. I ordered the ffm kind and I'm not sure I got the right kind because there was only enough space for the nose and the mouth area was covered. I know you could breath through it but I found that uncomfortable too. I think the product could be improved by having it attach in some way to the mask or by making the edge of it stiffer or something, I don't know. I'm not trying to put down the product but just to give my experience with it. I'm glad you designed it and hope it helps many people.

Thanks for the great input @bonesigh! From your description I am certain that you must have used the wrong size liner for your mask. Do you mind if I ask what mask style and size you use? When RemZzzs are fitted correctly, they should extend past the edge of the mask skirt slightly. Also, if fitted correctly, you should have space for both your nose and mouth in the center area of the liner. The liners will feel snug at first around the mouth and nose, however, a little tug on the outside edges will stretch and adjust the liner for a perfect fit. As far as not being attached to the mask, this is actually one of the best features of RemZzzs. We have found that when the liners are allowed to "float" on the surface of the mask they can better accommodate many facial features and abnormalities. Hi Nathan,

I was using a Mirage Quattro full face mask size small. They just switched me to a size extra small. My pressure was reduced last week so I asked to try a Swift light with nose tubes, no mouth covering. I seem to have been able to train my brain to only breath through the mouth. The nose mask seems to be working. I feel a little better. I will still be using the M.Quattro when I have a stuffy nose though. I'm not sure if I should try the liners another time since I was uncomfortable with the coldness of the air surrounding the edge of the mask. What have you to say about the coldness? Just another thing to have to get used to? Oh, and I wasn't trying to say that the whole liner should be stiffer, just the edge so it does not curl up and it would be easier to put in place. Or you could make it so it slips over the mask like a mini shower cap, then it would totally stay in place with no fuss.

Hi @bonesigh, thank you for the feedback. I'm glad to hear that you are doing better with the Swift nasal pillows. Getting a good night's sleep makes such a huge difference in quality of life! As far as the "coldness" you experienced with RemZzzs, I am fairly certain that this was a result of the poor fit from using the wrong size. Additionally, we have found that many, many people have reported a big increase in their overall comfort levels while using RemZzzs. I would imagine that with the right size the "coldness" might be lessened, however, matters of this nature are sometimes very personal and one person may report something that another might not, even with the same exact conditions. Thank you for the great feedback and the recommendations. I hope that you continue to have success with your therapy!

Interesting. I had apparently missed this post. I have sensitive skin and will keep this product in mind if and when I need something to soothe my face when wearing a full face mask. I typically use the Headrest as there is little contact with your face.

@sleepycarol, I'm glad you found the post. I'm sure that RemZzzs would help to reduce skin irritation whenever you do use a full face mask. Hope you continue to have success with the Headrest nasal style.
