Miss Florida USA 2011 Crowned
ORLANDO, Fla. --
Lissette Garcia, 24, was chosen from among a record 61 contestants Saturday to be Miss Florida USA 2011. She is a sleep study technician who plans to be a cardiologist.
Garcia was crowned after a week of Miss Florida USA activities. Officials for the 60th annual pageant took thousands of applications and narrowed them down to a select few through regional pageants.
Garcia will represent Florida in the Miss USA Pageant seen on NBC in the winter/spring of 2011.

Wow, I just "googled" my name and I found this.
#1 I didn't even know there was a board for sleep
#2 I am flattered that you all have had nice things to say.
I am Lissette btw, and I have bumped into so much negativity on boards and I am so happy to have great comments like the ones here.
I am very happy that I have accomplished my title as Miss Florida USA, and that I am a sleep tech! ;0)
Its a great feeling explaining to people what I do ( or did) for a living. I think I won the judges over with my sleep knowledge.
But that you all so very much, and we can definitely keep in touch through my blog...
