epworth scale questions
1 MSLT test for narcalepsy or to rule it in or out

you should put numbers or letters on them

2 epworth scale
The primary purpose of a Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) is to measure Excessive Daytime Somnolence (EDS).

I believe that a MSLT is performed following a NPSG to determine excessive daytime sleepiness in adolescents.
i suffer from daytime Somnolence
The primary function is for the diagnosis of Narcolepsy. Now if you want to determine excessive sleepiness you would then perform an MWT.
During a MSLT nap, you document lights out at 10:05 am. At 10:25 the patient has not fallen asleep. What is the most appropriate action at this time?
give them another 10 minutes then terminate till later

End the nap.

10 in the morning you caught me out

correct the document to say the correct time and use 24 hour clock to eliminate mistakes of that nature

ask what is your normal time for sleep and initiate it at that time and wait 30 mins

note
there is no such time as 2400 hours because it must belong to a day
solution
you must put it a minute or second to or a minute or second past midnight so as to have a precise day
99 This is for a MSLT and they have you napping during the day so the a.m. is correct and not a mistake on my part. I know about military time as we call it. My dad was in the army and worked as a civilian at the local air force base the entire time I was growing up.

I am helping Rock study for an important test he is taking and therefore the questions I am asking is from a study guide he has provided me.

Your feedback is appreciated though and probably gets him thinking about his answers.
You are doing fine 99. Definately making me think.
