good catch, 99. Here are details of the conference posted on ResMed's website, along with a link to the page that will have a webcast of the event:

Title: ResMed Inc. at JPMorgan Healthcare Conference
Date and Time: Monday, January 11, 2010 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET
Duration: 30 Minutes
Location: San Francisco, CA
so it is the eleventh today what will the resmed conference hold
i noted that the same time last year the s9 was spoken about
perhaps they were trying to deplete stocks before the new product release
and if a new product release is iminent perhaps older stock may be cheaper

and at the bottom of the pile was this information of the s9
britain is eight hours ahead of the united states
So, did any one watch the webcast??? I was there faithfull at 4 PM - EST (and so proud of myself for remembering) - but, alas, I hadn't read the full statement carefully, it was scheduled for 4 PM - PST. *sigh* And, of course, at 7 PM EST I was watching the news on TV and eating dinner and forgot about the webcast until 8 PM. *sigh* Story of my life. A day late and a dollar short.

It does say, tho, that a recording on demand will be posted after editing. And encourages us to check back later today.

At the URL 99 posted there is also the below. I've never seen this model name before.

Flow Generator (with humidifier), Model VPAP Tx, rated 100-240V 50/60Hz, 2.2A, portable equipment, appliance inlet.
Type of protection against electric shock: Class II
Degree of protection against electric shock: Type CF
Degree of protection against ingress of water: IPX1
Degree of safety of application in the presence of a flammable anaesthetic mixture with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide: Equipment not tested for use in the presence of a flammable anaesthetic mixture with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
Mode of operation: Continuous
Environmental Conditions: Normal: 5-35°C, 10-95% rH, 700-1060hPa
drats. i missed it! like you said, though, i'm confident they'll have a fully accessible webcast of the entire presentation. they'd want to do that for purposes of complying with federal securities laws regarding selective disclosure of material information (Regulation FD).
