Random Thoughts From An Overtired Brain
I saw a commercial on local TV last night for a Dr Horbal (pronounced as spelled). I saw him once years ago. He is a real jerk. The name fits him perfectly - doctor horrible.
This morning when I woke up - and didn't want to - I laid there w/my beady ole brain just kind of bouncing around and remembered a thread on our Crohn's disease forum several years ago.
One of our members had a gastroenterologist - Dr Butts
Another had a dentist - Dr Payne
Go thru the yellow pages of your phone book and see what "appropriate" names pop up for the various specialists in your area. You can't make them up! This COULD be fun.

Nothing to do w/doctors but we live in quite a small town and yet we have a good size family who's surname is Efu. That's the way its spelled and it is spelled the way it sounds.
We also have a good size family who's surname is Horny, pronounced as spelled. Can you imagine being a teenage girl w/a surname like Horny??
And I used to work w/a woman named Shirley Fink. I'd have made my spouse adopt MY surname rather than my adopting Fink as a surname!

I went to school with a guy named Brian Bunn. By itself not to funny, but his dads name was Harry. To make matters worse his middle name was Steven. In the phone book and school directory it ws listed as Bunn, Harry S. Almost 20 years later I still get a kick out of it.

When we were in high school the boy's gym teacher had the last name of Long. Guess what his first name was? Yep, Dick. So in the phone book it was shown as Long, Dick. Did he get lots of prank calls from teenagers. He took it in stride. My husband's grandpa had the last name of Moore with a first name of Dick. So even our kids got a kick out of that one.
