Some one  asked if anyone had ever compared Quietus Liners with Remzzs. I was a Remzzs liner user until two months ago when I discovered Quietus Liners on the internet. So here is my humble comparrison for what it is worth. Upon the Quietus Liner package the difference became obvious very quickly. The Quietus Liners were made of a more substantial cloth that was thicker and softer then Remzzs. They were very comfortable and fluffier. Advantage Quietus!

They allowed fewer airleaks then brand R(I am tired of typing the full names). Advantage Q.

They did not slip due to their tacking agent. Advantage Q.

They delivered multiple uses~Advantage Q

Cost~Q was $20.95 for a 30 day supply including shipping. R was $24.95 plus shipping. Advantage Q

Q liners lasted 10 nights each.

R one night per the manufacturer.

So a 30 day supply lasted 100 nights. R lasted 30 days.

BIG ADVANTAGE Q!!

ANNUAL COST COMPARISON

 R's annual cost $322.20

Q's annual cost      76.48

An annual savings of $245.72 with Quietus! Plus I can use my facial moisturizer with them.

Winner on all fronts~ QUIETUS LINERS!

Hi Cathy, Excellent breakdown of products cost and comfort! Now if we could get Sleep comfort care pad maker chi-san to make a complete liner we would have something even more durable and comfortable.Good Sleep ,Chris

Thanks, Cathy.

I bought the Quietus liners and used one last  night, but I couldn't decide if it prevents leaks or if it just muffles the sound when a leak happens. I can't figure out how get the leak rate on my machine.  I've only been on it about 4 weeks now and the manual that they gave me doesn't show you how to get any of the data.  I have figured some of it out but not all. I use the Resmed S-9. I still had leaks because I could hear air blowing out but it was not making the obnoxious noises it usually does.

The s8 has 4 buttons the two big ones( left and rigtht) hold down approx 3 seconds and the user menue is displayed use up/down buttons to scroll threw selections I do not know if s9 is the same.

Thanks Cathy.  An excellent review and has answered many of my questions.  I used to supply the RemZzzs here in the UK, and although pretty good, they're expensive!

I had used Remzzz's for over two years until I got the Quietus.  I agree Q is better and I think this is because of the thickness of the material.

As far as the usage, 5 days is maximum without washing them.  After washing, the cloth takes on a different character which I personally don't like and the tackiness has worn off.  I have hand washed and air dried, washed them in the automatic washer and air dried and then washed in washer and dried in dryer they come out the same.  HOWEVER, they still could be used and effectively.

If I am not mistaken, the Quietous web site states that the 10 days is with washing.

By the way, I doubled up a Remzzz's and it lasted 5 days and actually had a softer feel than the Quietous.

Now to get my DME to carry Quietous after I got him to carry Remzzz's.
