1. I would like to receive all comments into my mail inbox. I seem to have missed a lot. How do I do this please?

2. Some years ago I had problems with staying awake during daylight hours. I was diagnosed with sleep apnoea after a sleep test. For a few years that made a big difference.

Twelve months ago I was having the same problem. I asked for another sleep test and was given new sleep settings. That made a difference for a while but my sleepy days have returned. My GP says it is oxygen deprivation and he didn't seem cleer what I had to do.

Today I went to bed at midnight. I awoke at 5 am to go to the toilet. Upon returning, I had troubles with my mask. Then my eczema kicked in and I finally went back to bed at 6 am. I slept through being woken up until 9 am when I went for a blood test. I went back to bed and slept again until 1 pm. This is not natural and I don';t know what to do.

I smoked cigaretttes for 10 years from 18 to 28. Then I puffed a pipe for 30 yerars but did not inhale. I have not smoked a pipe now for 23 years. I am a controlled asthmatic.

Now I do not know what to do. Can anyone help?

Gordon, I know how to leave you a message here, but without being a friend I don't know how to send you a message.
Re: Problems- do you have a sleep Doc? . Other choices are a sleep neurologist, or, pulmonologist, it sounds like you need one. They would know how to handle your oxygen needs if supplementation is in order. Perhaps you need another another sleep Study. After nearly two years I use Nuvigil for daytime sleepiness.

Do you have a data capable machine so you can can check your nightly leak, AHI and AI? You could look for any increases there.

Sounds like you doctor might need to do a pulse ox check on you.

I have wondered if it was possible to do one during the day to see how oxygen levels stay during the day -- but haven't asked the doctor about it.

i just sleep and sleep
