Hello all:
I need help! I am in Italy for 3 months and have severe sleep apnea. I use a ResMed Auto 25 with a resmed mirage quattro mask. Last night I overfilled my water container. After correcting the problem my machine will no longer function after one minute. It will ramp up to full pressure (22hg ) and then stop with a message "check tube" Last night after tryng to correct the problem with the same result each time, I gave up. This morning I had another go at it with the same result. I tried disconnecting the water resivour from the machine and connected the breathing tube directly to the machine, same result. I have checked the tube and the mask for malfunctions and can observe nothing out of the ordinary. I have disconnected the machine from it's power source in an attempt to reset it to no avail. Since I am nowhere near a ResMed service provider I need help in solving this problem,. Any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I know about electrical components and water I learned from washing my cell phone. Take it down as small as you can, eg. remove humidifier again, pull power cord and tubing, and let it dry out thoroughly. Sometimes after several days things will dry out enough to work again.
You can also call your equipment provider and see about having a new one shipped out to you, or maybe they can arrange for you to swap yours out with a local provider.
This is a tough one. I have that same machine and have not had that problem. Think I'll start underfilling the reservoir a bit.
Good luck, keep us posted.
I know this post is kind of old, but i just had the same problem with my resmed vpap st. Its giving the same error and doing the same exact thing. I was wondering if you machine ever started working again. If so, how long did it take and what method did you use to dry it out?
