My understanding is that the LT for her is the exact same as the regular LT in all respects except the color and the selection of pillow sizes that comes with it. I think the LT comes with small, medium, and large pillows; whereas the LT for her comes with extra-small, small, and medium--or something like that. So if a lady uses small or medium pillows, the regular LT will work fine for her, if she doesn't mind the darker color blue of the headgear. I will not say that the LT for her is pure marketing genius, but it comes close.
Well this new stuff fits more snuggly than the old stuff, stays on my face better and is just way better over all than my old stuff. Is there any cost difference for the gear made for men vs the gear made for women? If it is the same cost I don't get what you mean about "marketing genius".

I didn't mean to sound insulting to ResMed with my marketing statement. I admire good marketing. And, for full disclosure, I use a ResMed blower and use exclusively ResMed masks myself. My mask of choice is the LT most nights. I think it is the best mask I've ever tried, for my needs. I consider both versions to represent a major leap forward in mask technology.
And I think the LT for Her is a step in the right direction, as far as taking the needs of women into consideration. But it is only a baby step, from my view. And it seems to me it is overhyped in the marketplace as if it were a completely re-engineered product designed specifically for a woman, when it doesn't seem to me that is quite the case, other than in a few details. So part of me finds the way it is marketed to be a tad deceptive and patronizing to women, or at least misleading on some levels. It was a nice gesture that the company seems to be giving itself way too much credit for. However, I do give them credit for not charging more for it.
And maybe I'm just being an overly sensitive male in my reaction to it. :-)
