99, the way I read this is that he'd had his second sleep study which was a titration. We need to clarify with him before we assign him to the spammer pit! Seems okay to me at the moment.....

I think that Karl B is the real deal asking for suggestions on DME's etc. As
a real newbie, I probably referred to my titration as another sleep test myself.
Anyway, I feel badly about the rough start he had when he came on board
on the heels of the Bed person. As a result, I've gone out of my way to friend
him so that he feels welcome and was hoping a few others might also ;-)

Jan, I absolutely agree with you about Karl. All you need to do is read his Page/Profile to know he has every reason to come to SleepGuide for support and information.

I too have sent him a Friend request and would encourage other members of SG to do the same. His initiation into our Forum was indeed rocky, through NO fault of his own. People were understandably upset about the beds issue, and I think some of that was inadvertently transferred over to Karl.

So jump on in and give our new friend, Karl, the kindness and respect he deserves, y'all!!!!

At times we can figure out a blatant spammer, then there are those that are more subtle. We must take care not to alienate those that are truly needing help.

We can learn about good products from each other and make informed choices based on others views, yet when that forum member appears to have no connection to sleep apnea as such it makes them suspect. I appreciate everyone watching out for each other -- please read profiles before hinting that one is a spammer to avoid hard feelings.

We haven't had many threads that have resulted in "flame wars" and hope that we may continue on that course.

Goshes, ANY comments I made about spamming, etc. were in regards to Mark Beds. If any were misconstrued as being aimed at Karl B I offer my profuse public apology!!!!

If any did seem directed at Karl B it is just because I was inattentive and too happy to have all this stuff going on in my life to mumble and grumble about!!

Judy, I don't think your remarks were mis-directed--you're ALWAYS clear about your agenda!!, and I didn't hear anything in it that contributed to that particular controversy.

Save your energy for tomorrow. I hope the day goes well for your totally-antibacterially-treated antiseptic self!! (I too think that's an odd request from the hospital--did they run out of Beta-dyne?????)
