You can reach out to this sleep apnea surgeon, Dr. Park. His practice is in New York City, but he may have some names of docs in the Northern Virginia area. Or you might consider seeing him on your next visit to New York. Perhaps others will have other suggestions . . .
Sorry, but I don't know anyone personally in your local area that truly understands how to choose and perform procedures for sleep apnea. I'm sure they exist, but I don't know any any in that area. Most ENTs still offer only nasal and soft palate surgery. You have to know and be comfortable with tongue base procedures (hyoid suspension, genioglossus advancement, radiofrequency-Somnoplasty, SMILE, etc.) to be able to get good results. I base my protocol (with my own modifications) on Stanford's methods. Without sounding self-promotional, I strongly recommend that you read my book before considering any sleep apnea surgery. You can find a link to the book on my website at http://www.doctorstevenpark.com.
Are there any specific questions that I can help years of with?
