I don't understand why I'm still feeling so crappy...

I've been using CPAP since June 3/09 and for a couple of weeks felt good but this last week I'm feeling like the walking dead again. No engery, feeling like I could crawl back into bed and napping every day this week in the afternoon for about 90 minutes.

Lori - I'm a new user too, and my Resp. Therapist told me to expect to feel worse at first, she said it's kind of like your body starts to recognize restful sleep, and then craves it. My understanding is that this can last for varying amounts of time for different people, and the important thing is to keep going with your therapy and be confident that this will pass.

For me, that tiredness happened right away. Assuming you are having no problems with your machine or mask, maybe this is what is happening. I'd suggest reviewing it with your health professional.
Are you exercising to build up your stamina? I gained a lot of weight and lost a lot of muscle when I got the sleep curse which only adds to the problem. Just a thought
Is it an all day thing or just certain times during the day.
If you have a machine that has a data card, then a download will give you some helpful information on how you are doing. Call your DME vendor for help with this.
