saw this and wondered whether the burglar was a fellow hose head or a crook who thought the CPAP machine was something else:

The following are excerpts from the Walnut Creek Police Department log:

Wednesday, March 18

BURGLARY — A sleep apnea machine was reported stolen from a vehicle broken into in the 1300 block of Alma Avenue.

Maybe he wants to use it to supply a bubbler in his fish tank.
Eh, what do any of you know?? :-) That was definitely a desperate apnean w/no insurance who stole that CPAP. Who else would know that the dang thing was???
I would be willing to bet that the low life piece of scum thief saw a brief case style storage case, thought it was a laptop, and saw some fast drug money. It is now setting in a pawn shop somewhere or they trashed it.
Some would steal anything I guess and then figure out later what it was.
I bet he is really surprised holding it in his hands and saying what the hell is this,He might even put it back
