Can't believe it ..I actually slept with my mask on all night.....BUT I FORGOT TO TURN ON THE MACHINE!! TEE HEE Guess that's why at the old usual "waking hour of 3 am" I felt like a herd of camels had marched through my mouth!! Can;t believe I have come this far with my machine that I actually MISS IT when I realize it's not on!! Keep the faith everyone, it will be you too!!
I've done the opposite... I'll turn the machine on for a while before I put on my mask. Just to clear out any stale air I guess. And a few times, I've gotten in bed, put on my hook-over-the-ear headphones I use to have music or old time radio help me fall asleep, get all comfortable and situated, and THEN suddenly realize the machine is running but my mask is still hanging on the bedpost.
If you managed to sleep all night w/your mask on and your xPAP turned off but can't manage to sleep all night w/both mask AND CPAP turned on MAYBE your pressure setting on your CPAP is too high???
Thats funny. Reminds me of what I did the other day at work. After about 20 minutes of pushing around a lawn mower a coworker told me I forgot to turn the balde on! Guess thats what happens when you are walking around like a zombie all day because you have apnea.
