I just had to share that I finally got my FullLife mask and I LOVE it. I slept all through the night last night. It was nice not waking up in the middle of the night to leaks. It is so light weight too. No big and bulky like my old mask. :o)

Congrats, Christine! I have never heard anyone gush over a full-face mask. maybe respironics is really on to something with the new FullLife mask. so great to hear.
That's excellent!!! The new Respironics masks are definitely better. They've gone much lighter in weight and have great design improvements.

Most importantly, you found a mask that works for you! Now you can use your old mask as a paperweight.

It was so nice to be able to get a full nights rest. Even with the rainy weather we are having here today I actually have a little pep in my step.

Yes, it does beat the Mirage Quartto hands down.

RAINY WEATHER!!!!!! Where are you??? I'm moving. Sunny California can kiss my overly tan bottom....

The only thing I don't like about that mask are the straps. I thought they could've used the "ball and socket" tabs like they have on most of their other masks. They just make it easier to click in and click out without having to adjust all of the straps. I even sent them an email with the subject line titled "What's up with no tab thingys?"

Okay, I haven't yet...but I'm going to in a couple minutes. That Respironics mask guy is going to rue the day he gave me his business card!!!!

I'm in NW Pennsylvania. Its been yucky rainy all day today and we are suppose to have a huge parade tomorrow (3-4 hours long) the celebrate the birth of the oil industry a.k.a Oil 150.
I have to agree with the strap issue. Its going to be a pain to adjust and then have to undo the straps only to have to do it all over again. Unless you know of an easier way...
I have been telling my Fiancee's mother about how good I feel since I started CPAP, and that she really should look into it because she sleeps ALL the time. Granted she does have COPD along with some heart problems, but I'm sure there is a posibility that she has apnea too. Since I was diagnosed I have basically shouted from the roof tops how important is is to have a sleep study done if you are experiencing any of the signs of apnea. I have been reading everything I possibly can about it, and am so glad that I found SG. There is so much information here that I have gotten, not to mention the feed back I have gotten from posts as well as from questions that I have had.
Congrats Christine. I like success stories.
It is funny how we are all so different!!! I HATE the ball and socket set-ups. They seem weak and flimsy to me and I will go with the locking clasp any day of the week!!
I would even go with the locking clasp..the straps are a pain..but I'll deal with that because its nice finally having a mask that works for me. Two nights in a row of 8 hours worth of sleep..I don't know what to do with myself..Hey..I have actually had breakfast, showered and dressed and it just is 10:30. Thats a huge accomplishment for me....

DON'T undo the straps. Disconnect the hose! Gracious sakes alive! The Respironics Rep showed us how to put this mask on w/ONE HAND! AND the hose disconnect is so EASY! I'm even thinking of trying one of these FullLife masks.
ME TOO, CAROL!! My new mask has those snap-lock clips and I LOVE it. I hated messing with those ball&socket things--same reason--always thought they'd break PLUS I could never find the hole!!!!! I don't mind the straps--mine are all velcro and easy to manage.
