Is there a time frame for when your machine should be checked that it is putting out correct pressure? Should your DME company do this?

i understand your local support group may do this for you
it should be checked annually unless there is good reason to suspect something is wrong
you can make your own manometer or buy one to check pressure

Is it something easy to do yourself? There is NO local support group here. Thanks~ Have had it just over a year and thought it should be checked out even though I have no reason to think it is not working correctly.

Google it to see how it is done or ask you suppler to do the checks
this is but one aspect as it should be sterilizer at the same time and this is outside my scope unless you purchased an ozone bag

Good luck making your own, Ginny. I think to be politically correct it should be called a personometer, lol. My question is do we really need one if we have only had the machine for a year. The pressures should stay the same unless people play around with it themselves and I would have thought the machines pressure accuracy should be fairly good especially after only one year. I could understand maybe 5-10 years but a change of machine would probaly be required or wanted by then. Just a thought.
