First time using EncoreViewer (how to read and save my info)

I have been using my APAP since March. I bought the EncoreViewer and can see my data since May...but I'm not sure if the report is telling me good stuff or bad stuff. Also, I have seen other people upload their reports - does anyone know how to do that?

Thanks!

if you have a PC, do a google search for a free application called "Cute pdf" -- once you've installed this on your PC, you can choose to print your report, and when you choose a printer, you choose the "Cute pdf" reader. Instead of printing, this will convert your file to pdf format, which you can then save and attach as a file using the "Upload Files" link when you're starting a discussion here. we'll all be able to take a look from that point on and comment.
As always, you are so helpful. Here's my very first report. I have actually had the software/reader since May...but have been tired lately so I thought I'd better see what's going on....I sincerely appreciate your help.

Mary, I think you have a couple of problems you need to address. First, your mask is leaking at a rate i would consider unacceptable. looks like you often have "large leaks," which essentially means the pressure is escaping altogether from the mask at times.

also, your range looks like it's from 4 to 12, and that the machine is struggling at times to go above 12. i'd think about tightening up the range by bringing the floor up from 4 to maybe 8, and increasing the 12 to 13. that might be too wide a range still. i'm just throwing some numbers out there i personally would try. i am not a doctor of course, and you should probably discuss this with your physician. but those are a couple of issues to consider.

I agree with Mike. Your average pressure is 8. I would try setting about 7 or 8 and then go to 12 or 13 as well. Talk to your doctor about switching your pressue. You have the records take them with you to the doctor and explain what is going on. He or she will take a look and probably agree your minimum pressure needs to go up.

What type of mask are you using? You need to get the leaks under control, maybe we can help you figure out ways to do that.
You all are so helpful....this is great for someone trying to learn all of this stuff. My mask is: Mirage Quattro Resmed
So the Resmed Mirage Quattro is a full face CPAP mask, which is more prone to leaks than a nasal mask or a nasal pillows system because there is more surface area for things to go wrong. so if you are at all able to switch down to a nasal mask -- i personally use the Resmed mirage activa nasal cpap mask and like it very much -- you should try it. that will address the leak issue.
