cpap.com allows you to buy a mask and pay a fee at the time of the order for the ability to return it for a refund of the purchase price; the fee and shipping charges are not refunded. I do not know the other details other than that the fee seems rather stiff to me, and you will have to pay for shipping both ways.
I don't know of any. It possibly has something to do with what 99 suggest.
If you swap, trade, buy from an individual the risk of lawsuits are probably minimal.
But if you are a business -- there would be more danger in someone claiming a "used" mask made them sick. Although sleep labs do disinfect them between uses I would think a business could do the same.
Might be another venture for you to look into Mike. You would have to charge a deposit to make sure you received the mask back but I would think it would be doable since many of us do not have a problem with slightly used masks, etc.

I would think the best option is your sleep lab and local hospital sleep labs as they, I believe, are the only ones allowed to sterilize and re-use masks since they don't sell equipment.
I have heard of sleep labs that allow you to go back and "borrow" different masks to try. I've never asked if my sleep lab does because I've never needed to do so since my current local DME has a very lenient mask exchange policy.
