Prior to OSA diagnosis, my husband had complete dentures made up.  He does not wear his teeth when sleeping.  Do your teeth assist in keeping your tongue from falling back when asleep/relaxed.  Seems to me with teeth in your mouth you would keep your soft palate raised.  In a raised position it would seem to be noramlly stronger and more naturally flexable.  Would sleeping with his dentures provide any support for those areas that are prone to obstruct?

should the denture prove to to be a bad fit definatly not
and a good fit is open for interpretation
W/a full face mask I doubt there is too much difference. However, w/a nasal cushion or nasal pillows mask I would think that at least the top denture would be almost crucial to a leak free, comfortable mask fit.
Okay I don't have dentures -- but my son-in-laws mom and aunt both have dentures and are on cpap. His mom says she feels that when she doesn't have her dentures in it makes it difficult to achieve a good seal with a full face mask. His aunt does not wear dentures and has constant issues with leaks due to gaps. I think -- and this is only a guess -- that when you sleep your muscles relax and with no teeth it is even more difficult to keep the chin and mouth from sagging even further. Joe's mom uses the F&P 431 to help hold her chin up (yes I know it is not designed to keep your mouth closed) so there is less sagging, but she wears her dentures also.
