Hi Mike
I want to purchase a battery for "just in case" I ever lose power. I have a Respironics REMStar Auto machine. To buy a Respironics battery in Australia is $600.00. This seems like a much cheaper alternative considering that I may never need to use it (it's really for peace of mind) and they will ship to Australia.
Do you have any insight to offer or any questions I should be asking before I pay for it?
Thanks
Susan
I ended up getting a CPAP battery pack from The Battery Geeks for a camping trip and also for a long plane flight. I was referred to them by ResMed. On my camping trip, it gave me 5 nights of power per charge. I'm also able to use this battery to power and charge my laptop and other gadgets. You can also use their CPAP battery packs as a UPS (uninterpretable power supply) which will fully protect your CPAP machine against any unexpected power outages. The Battery Geeks gave me excellent service and a superior product so naturally, I have no regrets and would highly recommend them. They also have a very inexpensive rental program. You can see and listen to more tech info on their site at http://www.batterygeek.net/cpap
