As part of an effort to streamline its portfolio and reallocate resources to faster-growing, higher-margin businesses,
Covidien announced last week that it will sell its CPAP and bilevel sleep therapy products to PH Invest, a privately held company located in Luxembourg.
The transaction includes the company's Nancy, France, manufacturing facility and all related commercial operations in Europe.
Sleep interface products sold under the Adam, Breeze, and Dreamfit names will continue to be sold by Covidien. The company sold its sleep diagnostics and oxygen lines in 2009.
