Anyone use an oximeter, and what's the best one to use... best meaning quality/price?

If you can pick up the hospital-grade, used Nelcor's ..... the software is the killer tho.

Nonin is usually the leader ... but again the software ....

For the money, new, and accompanying software, the SPO 7500 (watch it, some places were selling it w/o the software) or the CME-60 seem to be quite popular. The recording oximeters are of little to no use to you w/o the software. Some of the older Nelcor's printed results on a roll of paper like an adding machine.
the rules here are that everyone be respectful of each other and stay as much on topic of sleep apnea as possible. other than that, we try to stay "hands-off" as much as possible.

I have an old used handheld hospital pulse-ox that averages readings every minute overnight and shows the results on the pulse-ox screen--no software. But If I were buying right now, this new one with software looks like a fairly sweet deal to me, from the same site I bought my used one from:

I can't find the rules of this community right now to make sure my linking to a commercial site like that is OK here, and I never read sign-up agreements. So if this isn't OK, let me know and I'll delete it. Or just delete it for me. Either way.
I use the Nonin Pulse-Ox connected to my ResLink with card and reader, I use ResScan 3.5 software. It works pretty well when you down load the detailed data the O2 sat and pulse rate appear with all the rest of the data, so you can see everything that was going on right when it happened!
That sounds like a sweet setup white beard. You have your own private sleep lab over there!

Ok JNK I can be slow on the uptake so be nice :)

I went to the website you posted and it looks like to me that this one would record overnight and then you could download the data for your stats. Is that correct? This would be really handy if it is something one could use to monitor their oxygen level overnight.
