I am unable to see any pressures when the machine is running....its only when i shut the machine off that
two pressures appear and then they disappear....and at this point in time i do not have the ability to
know how to access the submenu you refer to....i will refer to your comment at a later date when i hopefully will
know how to do that...thank you!

As the machine is running, it shows you the current pressures being delivered. But once you shut the machine off, you can then go to the Efficacy Data submenu to see the 95th centile pressure for mask-on time (excluding periods when the leak exceeded 0.4 L/s) for the most recent session. The pressure data for longer time intervals (such as the last week or the last month) is the median of the daily 95th centile values durin a period (excluding any non-usage days).
the RT did not explain anything to me about the machine....i dont know what he enabled...i will try as you suggest...thank you...

Try pressing the left and right arrows down simultaneously for about 5 seconds. If the RT enabled you to access the patient version of the menus (which let you look but not change things), that should work. If that doesn't work, you can either ask the RT to enable that function, or we can go off the grid and walk you through how to make that info available to you.

jeff, on further thought, the RT was giving me the machine as a loaner to try and probably didnt feel it necessary to explain
its operation at that time given the fact that it appears that there may be a question as to my ability to obtain one on a permanent basis.... i will ask him the question you raised re enabling of the patient menus for me. i should see him soon. i have a prescription for the resmed but i am not confident how everything will ultimately work out....so i have decided that i am going to back over all that has been written to me here and try to understand and digest it while i have the machine in my possession..i dont have much time before my next appointments.....you have been so kind and incredibly helpful as have judy and others....and I truly appreciate all efforts to help me....THANK YOU!
