Has anyone lost weight once they got their apnea under control?

I've been reading that sleep apnea can cause weight gain and make it hard to lose weight.  I have gained a lot of weight over the last several years.  I'm wondering if I might lose some once I get the CPAP?

I have lost about 10 pounds since I've been on CPAP. I have more energy and now I'm active again. Before CPAP, I was exhausted all the time. Now, I'm getting up early to workout before work....that is a huge step in the right direction.
It can certainly be a cycle, you wake up and don't have energy to exercise so you gain weight and the process continues. I am just getting my numbers under control, so I would love it if I lost weight!
I do have more energy for exercise and more determination to eat right to give CPAP every chance of being successful for me.
I have lost 15 ilbs since crossing the Co state line.
people say i have lost weight but i know i have not

what may be occuring is that my muscles make it appear that i have lost weight, i have a secret weapon called
a weighing scale. i am still 101KG
